It’s best described as a hack’n’slash adventure. For 90% of the game, you’ll be repeatedly hitting button combinations to kill countless waves of foes. In general, I wouldn’t be interested in such a game.
They generally get old fast, and I have better things to do with my time than hammer buttons for a few hours. While you could definitely pound your way through the game, there are a tonne of combos to try, weapons and spells to upgrade, and some incredibly brutal finishing moves to execute.
